Managing Director of GKV Investment, producers of Ava Virgin Coconut Oil, Mr. Kojo Nunoo
has been awarded the national best Agro-processor at the 36th National Farmer’s Day celebration
that took place in Techiman, Bono Region on Friday, 6th November 2020.
Mr. Nunoo received the award as a recognition for his outstanding contribution to the
development of agriculture in Ghana.
In a conversation with myghanadaily.com, Mr. Nunoo expressed gratitude for the
recognition and promised to continue helping in any way possible to foster growth in
Ghana’s agriculture sector.
“I am truly honoured today to know that the work I and my team have done so far is not
futile, we sincerely also appreciate our customers for purchasing ava coconut oil and
supporting my team and I immensely, we will continue to give off our best to ensure the
continuous growth of Ghana’s agriculture sector” he assured.
Mr Nunoo is also a member of the Coconut Federation of Ghana,
Among the significant impact of his leadership is the GKV-SNV Hortifresh Coconut Innovation Platform initiative
which is currently providing aid to over fifty (50) coconut farmers in both the Western and Central Regions
of Ghana to help ensure quality raw materials for processing and also boost coconut productivity.
